Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using WevV, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or permission from a parent or guardian, you must meet that requirement. If you use WevV for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. Tell us through in-app Help or Support if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not sell, transfer, rent, or provide access to your account to another person without our permission.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, tasting notes, posts, comments, messages, audio, and other content you submit. You give WevV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect the service. This license is subject to your privacy settings and ends when your content is deleted, except where continued retention is technically necessary or legally permitted.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights. Do not post someone’s image, voice, or personal information without appropriate permission.

4. Community conduct

Keep WevV welcoming and safe. You may not:

• harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or endanger another person;
• post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, or seriously harmful content;
• share private information without permission or use live and messaging features for unwanted contact;
• infringe intellectual property or other rights;
• spam, manipulate engagement, run unauthorized promotions, or misrepresent reviews and recommendations;
• introduce malware, bypass security, scrape the service without permission, reverse engineer protected parts of WevV, or interfere with normal operation; or
• use WevV for unlawful activity or help others violate these Terms.

We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and take action on accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement. Users can report concerns through the controls available in the app.

5. Shops, events, live features, and recommendations

Shop listings, ratings, menus, opening hours, events, and user recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Verify important details directly with the relevant shop or organizer.

Unless WevV expressly states otherwise, shops, creators, event organizers, and other users are independent third parties. Your attendance, purchases, travel, food choices, and interactions are your responsibility. Consider allergies, dietary needs, local conditions, and personal safety before acting on content or meeting others.

Live rooms, direct messages, and public posts involve interactions with other people. Use good judgment, protect personal information, and follow applicable recording and consent laws.

6. Our service and intellectual property

WevV and its licensors own the service, software, visual design, trademarks, and other materials we provide, excluding user content. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used without restriction or payment, but we are not required to implement it.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using WevV at any time and may request account deletion through the controls or support options available in the app.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or take protective measures if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, harmed the service or other people, or if the service is discontinued. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WevV is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, that user content is accurate, or that every harmful act will be detected. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, WevV and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Any further limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.

9. Changes, additional terms, and contact

We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.

Some features may have additional rules presented when you use them. If those rules conflict with these Terms, the feature-specific rules control for that feature.
